Run your kitchen, not your software
KitchenOS is free, offline-first kitchen management for independent restaurants — recipes, inventory, procurement, workflow, and financial reporting. Everything runs on your own machine, and your data never leaves your device unless you choose to sync it.
Free — forever, offline
Everything a single kitchen needs
Recipes with on-device voice dictation, an ingredient database with nutrition, batch-aware inventory across multiple locations, purchase orders, prep lists and cleaning schedules, temperature logs, waste reports, and food-cost and menu-engineering reporting.
Premium — $50/month per kitchen
Multi-kitchen sync · supplier ordering · analytics (on the roadmap)
Everything in the free app, plus real-time sync across your devices and kitchens, cloud-native supplier ordering, and analytics spanning every kitchen you manage. Billed per kitchen; managed in the Premium web app.
Download KitchenOS 0.6.0 (Linux)
Install the .deb, launch KitchenOS, and you're running — a local server starts with the app and your data lives in a local SQLite file. A local user is created on first run; no account or cloud required.
Windows (.exe) and Linux (.deb) installers are in the release below;
macOS packaging is on the roadmap. The full source is in the release too.
Android companion
